Terms and Conditions

We love making Tasmanian Gingerbread,

but we don't love chasing accounts.
 
Our products are delivered promptly, all we ask is the same for payment.

The following terms and conditions will apply to all outstanding and new customer accounts from January 1, 2013.

  1. Wholesale account terms are 7 days net, retail purchases are to be paid prior to dispatch.
    Other arrangements may be granted by request.
    Customers continually extending credit without prior arrangement will be asked to pay cash on delivery for future orders.
     
  2. Any outstanding balance over 30 days will incur 10% interest compounding each and every month it remains overdue! You will be notified before interest is added, if you anticipate difficulty paying, please contact us.
    A $5.00 postage and bookkeeping fee may apply to overdue postal communications at our discretion.
     
  3. Any recovery costs are payable by the customer (you). If any outstanding balance remains overdue for more than 60 days, after notification to you, the Tasmanian Collection Agency will be contacted and recovery proceedings may commence.
     
  4. All effort is made to dispatch customers orders in a timely manner within our capability and of the highest standard. All products are packed in good order and counted. If you perceive a problem with our product, packaging or delivery,
    please notify us. Unfortunately due to the nature of our product, it is possible stock will get damaged in transport. We make no guarantees nor will be liable for any damages to stock during delivery, however, we aim to resolve any problems arising but our decision is final. Deliveries are entirely at the customers risk - no refunds or replacements for broken or damaged stock.
     
  5. Delivery via Fastway Courier is covered by insurance but packages must be opened and inspected in front of the delevery person to be covered.
     
  6. Delivery & Courier Charges may apply, depending on location.
    Outside of the greater Hobart area, we use Fastway Couriers or Australia Post.

     
  7. To be eligible for our wholesale price you must have a registered ABN and preferably be in the food retail business.
     
  8. This Australian business has a registered ABN is registered for the GST which is included in our prices.
     
  9. Tasmanian Gingerbread reserves the right to alter or add to these terms & conditions and seek legal remedy to assert it's intended definition as final.
